Artpresso Group Head Access Tool – Screen, Gasket & Dispersion Screw Remover
Stop prying with picks and screwdrivers. Pull the screen. Lift the gasket. Back out the screw. Leave the group unmarked.
Every home barista and café tech knows this job. A friction-fit shower screen that will not budge. A baked-on group gasket that fights the pick. A dispersion screw sitting in a space no kitchen screwdriver was built for. One slip and you have scratched a group head that costs more than the rest of the bar combined.
The
Artpresso Group Head Access Tool
is built for that exact moment. One compact, patent-pending tool replaces the screwdriver-and-hook pile you should not be using on espresso equipment.
A
V-groove tab
loosens and extracts friction-fit screens and gaskets. A
radius tab
engages the dispersion screw. The handle gives you real leverage. A
protective plastic pad
sits between the tool and the group so you are not marring the face of the machine while you work.
Designed to replace improvised tools. Built for people who actually service machines.
Why Baristas & Cafe Owners Are Switching:
3-in-1 Group Access:
V-groove for friction-fit screens and gaskets. Radius tab for the dispersion screw. One tool instead of a pick, a hook, and a screwdriver.
Damage-Controlled Removal:
Protective plastic pad interfaces with the group head surface during screen work to help reduce scratching, marring, and cosmetic damage.
Leverage Where You Need It:
Ergonomic handle gives you grip and controlled force instead of fighting a short driver in a hot, tight group.
Safer Than Improvised Tools:
Built to replace screwdrivers, picks, and hooks that slip, gouge brass, and chew gaskets into pieces.
Cafe-Ready Build:
Aluminum and stainless steel. Compact footprint — 5.50" L × 1.27" W × 0.60" H, 0.26 lbs, drops in a toolkit or drawer.
Patent Pending:
Purpose-built geometry, not a re-labeled hardware-store scraper.
Result?
Faster group service, cleaner extractions after a real screen-and-gasket change, and fewer scarred group faces. More time pulling shots. Less time fighting hardware.
Who It’s For
Home espresso users doing their first (or fiftieth) gasket change. Café owners who want techs off the clock faster. Baristas and machine techs who are done improvising with picks. Anyone running friction-fit screens who wants a dedicated tool instead of a scratched group.
How to Use It
Cool the machine. Do not service a hot group.
Use the radius tab to engage and back out the dispersion screw when present.
Use the V-groove tab to loosen and extract the friction-fit screen and gasket.
Keep the protective pad against the group face while you work the screen.
Clean the group, seat the new gasket correctly, reinstall the screen, and snug the screw, do not over-torque.
This tool is for
access and removal
. Pair it with the Artpresso 58mm Group Head Pro Cleaning Tool if you also want daily brush-and-pad cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this work on my espresso machine?
A: It is designed for friction-fit group head screens and gaskets, plus engagement of the group head dispersion screw. That covers a large share of prosumer and commercial groups. Fastener styles still vary (slotted, Phillips, hex). If your screen is held by a screw that does not match the radius tab, use the correct driver for that fastener and use this tool for the screen and gasket pull. Not sure? Send us the machine model before you order.
Q: How is this different from the Artpresso 58mm Group Head Pro Cleaning Tool?
A: Different jobs. The Group Head Pro Cleaning Tool brushes the gasket channel and screen and can back out certain shower-screen screws. This Access Tool is the dedicated puller: V-groove for stuck friction-fit screens and gaskets, radius tab for the dispersion screw, and a protective pad so you are not leveraging metal against the group face. Many shops will want both.
Q: Why not just use a screwdriver and a gasket pick?
A: You can. That is how most groups get scratched. Improvised tools slip, gouge, and tear gaskets into crumbs inside the channel. This tool gives you the right contact surfaces, leverage, and a pad between you and the machine. On a $3k–$15k group, the tool pays for itself the first time you do not mark the face.
Q: Is it durable enough for café and tech use?
A: Yes. Aluminum and stainless construction, compact enough for a service bag, built for repeat maintenance, not a one-and-done gadget. Dry it after use and keep it with your other Artpresso service tools.
Q: Does it include a new screen or gasket?
A: No. This is the access tool only. Add the correct group gasket and shower screen for your machine at checkout so the job is done in one order.
